1 Bearing type and features
The size ranges of E&B miniature, exra-small and small deep groove ball bearings (diameter series 7,8,9,0,1,2,3.)are shown as following: 80mm>=D>=6mm 45mm>=d>=3mm
Deep groove ball bearings can sustain radial loads mainly and can also sustain some axial load in either direction. The bearing have low frictional torque and very litter noise or vibration. These characteristics make them to be available for situation of high speed, high precision, low friction and low noise operations.
Except open bearings, most bearings manufactured by our company have shields or seals installed in both sides and are packed with a lubricant. Such bearings can simplify the structure around them and also their installation. It also eliminates the needs for relubrication. Therefore, it reduces maintenance cost.
There are three types of such enclosed bearings:
(1) Shielded bearings
The shields can be made of either low carbon steel or stainless steel, Shielded besrings are protected by a shield plate of pressed steel which pressed into the shield groove. They are classified into two types depending on the mammer in which the shield plate is fitted to the inner ring.
Z.2Z No seal grooves in inner rings
The curled shield plate of this type has its outer edge pressed into a shield groove in the outer ring.
ZL.2ZL With seal grooves in inner rings
The curled shield plate of this type has its outer edge pressed into a shield groove in the outer ring. Another, the shield plate can also be held in the shield grooves of outer rings by a snap ring.

(2) With contact sealed bearings
Sealed bearings have superior sealing effectiveness compared with shielded bearings, particularly, the contact type sealed bearings which prevent the intrusion of dust from outside because the seal lip slides on a seal groove or contacts with smooth rib in the inner ring. The torque is, however high due to the slide friction between the seal lip and inner rings.
There are two types of contact seals.
RS.2RS With seal grooves in inner rings.
LS.2LS No seal grooves in inner rings.
(3) Non-contact sealed bearings
It has the advantage that the frictional torque is low while effective sealing is achieved because the seal lip does not contact the seal groove or rib of the inner ring. The speed and low friction abilities are similar to shield bearings.
There are two types of non-contact seals:
RZ.2RZ No seal grooves in inner rings.
LZ.2LZ There are seal grooves in inner rings.
A rubber seal with metal backing is held in the outer ring by the elasticity of the rubber effective sealing is achieved by a labyrinth formed between the seal bore and the seal groove
The seals of contact or non-contact sealed bearing are all made of rubber with metal backing. We also use polypropylene rubber or fluoroelastomer when the temperature is very high during operation.
Otherwise, the bearings with location snap rings are also manufactured by our company.
